Parking spaces MUST be booked in advance here.  If you're coming by public transport, taxi, on foot or by bike, there is no need to book and there are no time restrictions; just turn up when you like within opening hours.

An Introduction to the Endangered Craft of Globemaking

Step inside the workshop and explore the fascinating world of globemaking. During this open studio day, you will discover how globes were made in the past and see the skills that keep this rare craft alive today. You will also have the chance to try some of the techniques yourself, including stretching map gores, the distinctive method of applying a flat map to a round sphere.
